CONSONANT FORMS // This work deals with formal studies of the mandala, fret, key pattern and swastika and their original and inherent meanings as pagan motifs. All of these are symbolic of the cosmos, unity of the sexes, and auspicious power. In Los Angeles, they can be found embedded within architecture throughout the city, including The Griffith Observatory. By abstraction, these cryptograms may be removed from loaded historical themes, unbound and divergently examined.
